Will I have to manipulate Active Directory or can I do everything from the client pc? Do I need to delete the old client pc’s from Active Directory since they no longer exist?

Just add it to the domain from the My Computer properties dialog box on the PC, you’ll be prompted for admin credentials when doing so. You can delete the old computers if they no longer are on the network.
