How Do You Build A Computer?
where do you get all the parts you need and the instruction to build your computer? someone told hand build computer isn’t that good, why not? how long does it last if you do build it? and the last question, how long does it last?
“where do you get all the parts you need and the instruction to build your computer?”
You need to go to a computer supply store. However, since you have to ask how it is done my guess is you are not nearly experienced enough with hardware to do it on your own. many places will build a custom computer for you. Check your phone book and contact stores in your area to see who offers that.
“someone told hand build computer isn’t that good, why not?”
They have no idea what they are talking about. You are actually much worse off buying a mass produced computer like a Dell for example, since upgrading hardware is much more difficult and expensive.
“how long does it last if you do build it?”
As long as you want it to so long as you properly maintain it by doing the required software and hardware upgrades.
“and the last question, how long does it last?”
See my previous answer.
It might be cheaper to buy a ready-made machine than build it yourself, because the cost of the individual parts will be more. You would need to purchase a case, motherboard, CPU chip, memory modules, hard drive kit, CD/DVD kit, floppy drive kit if you wanted one, power supply, video card, network card, keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers…it’s a long list!
There are PC parts stores online that you can use to purchase all of your components. The problem is that the manufacturers get all these parts at a huge discount because they have big contracts. Therefore, a prebuilt computer is much more cost-effective than the exact same home-built one.
Also, if you build it yourself, you will have NO tech support and NO software.
Homebuilt computers last as long as the worst component inside the system.
