If you do not have a wireless adapter for the PS3 (which is the easiest way) or a cable that will reach from the PS3 to the router, then you need to have a wired network card in the computer, enable Internet Connection Sharing between the computer's two networks (the wireless one and the wired one), and run a cable from the computer's network card to the PS3.
The first link below are instructions from Microsoft on how to enable Internet Connection Sharing.
The easier, more hassle free way (if you cant run a cable directly to your router) is *definitely* getting a wireless adapter for the PS3 - many people have been having success with the Linksys Gaming Adapter.
