However seeing that the power button is blinking, that could mean a bad power supply. You may have to bring it to a pro. if you don't know how to go inside the compute though because that is pretty much the only way to trouble shoot other than the cord being loose. Usually a blinking power button means the computer is in standby or hibernation mode, and the blank monitor means no video signal. All pretty straightforward. I assume you have turned the computer off then back on again, right? It could be a faulty video card or cable connection.
