How Can I Connect My Ipod To Pc Without Charging The Battery?

How can I connect my iPod to PC without charging the battery.
Sometimes I want to sync my iPod but I don’t want to charge the battery so I don’t damage it. Is there any way to do this?

  1. charging it wont hurt it…just drain the battery once a month of you’re worried about the battery getting weak.

  2. no, as an ipod expert and Mac/PC expert you cannot sync and not charge. anyways the batteries are rather durable they’re meant for overcharge because it’s inevitable.

  3. Keeping your iPod away from heat is a better way to protect the battery. Heat usually kills an iPod battery faster than charging cycles.

  4. I don’t think so. If you plug it in, the battery will be connected, and it will charge.
    It shouldn’t damage it very much though o.o
