		<description>It may be that your system settings on the laptop are set to have windows not output to the other display.  If you go to the display settings make sure it is not trying to output another desktop to that display adapter.  The other possibility is that the display settings for resolution and refresh rate are outside the specs of the monitor you are plugging in, try changing the display settings to 800x600 or even 640x480 and see if you can then see the desktop on the monitor you are plugging in.</description>
