How Do I Remove A Hard Drive From My Computer And Scan It With Another Computer?

My computer recently got a virus/trojan. I tried all the regular methods, but they did not work. Well, I figured this was a way you fixed a computer and my uncle (the one who made the computer) suggested I take the hard drive out and can it with another computer. Is there any specific cords or any special steps I need to do that?

You need to take out your hard drive by disconnecting the IDE cable and the power cable.Then attach to the another PC to the IDE cable of secondary or slave one.Just remove the jumper/connector from your hard drive before connecting.Now boot the computer and it will detect your hard drive.Try to scan the hard disk .
