    If both computers are win xp they have a file transfer program installed just buy a usb file transfer cord at wal-mart er whereever Go to: start>>>>>>all programs>>>>>>>accesseries>>>>>>system tools>>>>>>>then there it is (down 5 programs) ( the destop is the old computer the laptop is trhe new one)

  2. connect both to a router and then find each other on your network and do it through shared folders

  3. let me see actually there are various ways to do that. easiest is if you have usb port for both your pc and laptop and a flash disk or mp3 player. transfer the songs to your mp3 player or flash disk then transfer it to your laptop.
    burn d cd then copy it to your laptop.

  4. Buy an external hard drive and just back-up everything onto it… then you can easily plug it into your laptop and transfer it all quickly. There are other ways, but that’s the simplest and quickest.

  5. use a pen drive. Store your music there from your pc and then transfer it to your laptop. Good luck!!!

    CD= not enough memory
    Pin/thumb drive = not enough memory
    I have an external 20 gb hard drive; transfers about 1500 songs at a time.

  7. 1. Use an external hard drive, pen drive or what ever memory drive you have.
    2. If you have a router or switch, you can connect both PC and Laptop to it and create a home network, share the files and just copy paste them on your laptop. This is really usefull when you want to copy lotsa mp3 or data in general.

  8. try sving them to a cd, or a flash drive to transfer them.

    the EASIEST way, honestly, is to get a “Flash Drive” (512MB or 1GB minimum) and plug it in your USB port of your PC. You can then simply drag the files onto the drive and then take it out and plug it in your laptop. Just drop the files from your flash drive to wherever you want in your laptop.
    No need for the time-taking disc burning procedures etc.

  10. Burn a CD, Load them To a Thum/Flash Drive (same thing) , connect them to the same wireless network then go on the PC and find the file where all of the music is and right-click on that folder and hit “Sharing and security”. Then check the box that says “Share this folder on the network and click apply. RESTART BOTH COMPUTERS . On the laptop go to “My network neighborhood”
    from the start menu on the laptop and click on the folder that you shared and drag the music into a folder somewhere on the laptop.
    EASIEST WAY WITHOUT CABLES OR BUYING ANYTHING!

    Usually you would have to put it on a jump drive, cd, or portable hard drive. But if you still have the original cd’s it would be faster.

  12. load the files onto a disk or flash drive and then load the files off the disk or flash drive onto your laptop

  13. Get a flash drive, if you dont have one, just borrow one from a friend or something. its really quick and easy.
