How Can I Get My Hard Drive Back For A Macbook?

Ok, so my computer failed so I took it to Apple, and they put in a new hard drive and I don’t know how to get the old one back because I had over $2000 worth of stuff on it!!! PLEASE HELP ME!

What do you mean you don’t know how to get the old one back ?
Do you mean they never gave it back or that you have it and don’t know how to extract the data ?
If you mean they never returned it and you signed a release form you may be screwed. It depends on the contract. Usually techs are suppose to backup your data when working on your drive before they work on your system but that may cost extra.
