How Can I Solve The Problem That My Pc Keeps Shutting Down By Itself Every Time I Turn It On?

Every time i turn on my PC, it will go to the desktop, then it will show a command window saying “Computer now shutting off” and some other miscellaneous letters and characters. How can i solve this?

  1. There could be many issues causing this. Can you boot your computer into safe mode (push F5)? If so then do that and run a virus scan, defrag your computer, clean out any old files that you no longer need.
    Also check the side of your computer and see if it is hot. Sometimes the computer will shut down on it’s own to protect itself if it gets too hot. If it is hot then you need a new heatsynk and fan.
    If none of this works then take it into a real tech shop.

    Check your “Power Management” to make sure it’s not set to turn off in one minute if your not moving the mouse

  3. It could be a virus, Try reformatting your computer, it may help.

  4. virus! or you accidentally erased something important that the computer needs.
