Welcome to apple. Oh yeah, are you sure they put in a new one and didn't reformat it? Sometimes computer places just clear the entire hard drive. Well, there is probably not much you can do now except learn from your mistakes and never buy another mac. And i doubt it was over $2000 worth of stuff. Just because it costs that, it may be worth very little.. like a mac for example. +if it were so valuable, why would you store something like that all on a mac with no back up? Well, some people may assume macs are reliable because they cost a lot, so i can see how one would make that mistake. Lol. Welcome to apple.
