What Is The Best Way To Go From Pc To Mac?

I’m going to be making the switch soon, and am curious to different opinions on the best ways to get all my mp3’s and other files to my new mac.
- direct ethernet cable connection
- back up PC to external hard drive, then transfer to mac
- pay the 99$ and have Apple do it for me
- 3rd party software
I’m trying to be smart, and cost effective about this. Thoughts? Suggestions?

  1. If you want it Fast or do not have time or feel it may be beyond your capability to do it then pay the $99. Before I would pay, I would negotiate with the person selling me the Mac to do it for free. It will take no more than 15 minutes. I don’t know where you’re buying it but I would check with http://www.macmall.com. I bought my MacBook there and saved S&H and tax which would have been $125.

    in this way ,I haven’t payed so much money.
